Museum exploring the history of German colonization of the region, with a terrace overlooking the park and gardens
This museum is dedicated to the history of German colonization of the region from 1880 to 1920. On display are a water mill used to grind wheat for bread and barley for cattle feed, photographs of the region's German architecture, a barn featuring the various tools used to make butter and sausage, seal wine or beer bottles, or sort wheat, as well as a blacksmith's house and workshop. On the second floor, a superb terrace offers a sumptuous view of the park and gardens.
