In the old municipal market, restaurants serve the same dishes as elsewhere for significantly lower prices. Less modest than other markets in the country, the premises of the mercado municipal are more like real restaurants. Here, of course, the fish comes from the island's coasts: fresh, high-quality seafood awaits you on your plate! In the aisles, you'll find yourself jostling alongside the locals, who also cherish this warm and busy place. You can sample oysters at very reasonable prices and buy delicious salmón ahumado.
