FUNDACIÓN AMIGOS DE LAS IGLESIAS DE CHILOÉ (FAICH)
A fascinating museum exploring Chiloé's 70-odd churches, with models, original pieces and historical anecdotes..
Located in the former convent of the Inmaculada Concepción (dating from 1875), this visitor centre is also an exciting museum to learn more about the 70 or so churches in Chiloé, 16 of which are listed as World Heritage Sites. The Foundation is committed to safeguarding this heritage. Models of the wooden churches, original pieces of these churches, historical anecdotes... a short tour allows you to learn more. You can climb to the top of the bell tower.
