A museum recounting the story of the home of a Chilean writer who never ceased to describe the southern lands.
It is the home of one of the most famous Chilean writers of the 20th century, Francisco Coloane. A storyteller who never stopped describing the southern lands, notably in one of his major works, Tierra del Fuego. Don't miss the documentary, inside the museum, retracing the incredible journey of this house: in 2010, it was the subject of a minga by sea before being raised on stilts. Quemchi is a pretty fishing village on the east coast of Chiloe. Place of its beautiful church, one has sea views. House-museum is located in a small house similar to that of the parents of Francisco Coloane, was transferred from the neighbouring island, and gives an idea of the environment at the beginning of the 20th century.
