A grand old church built in 1858, distinguished by its nine-arched portico and 26.5-meter high tower.
Classified as a National Monument and World Heritage Site, it is one of the churches of the Chilean school that grew out of the Jesuit missions. Built in 1858, it is one of the largest and oldest churches in Chiloé. Its interior with three naves is covered with local woods, including cypress, ulmo and malèze. Singular and characteristic of the charm of Chiloé, the church also stands out for its portico with nine pointed arches and its 26.5-metre high tower.
