Acadian folklore and traditions take pride of place at this delightful festival, a tribute to the soldiers of 1944!
This week-long festival pays tribute to the Acadian soldiers who landed on Juno Beach on June 6, 1944, and celebrates the vitality of Acadia today. A family event packed with music and folklore on the Côte de Nacre. Concerts, kite demonstrations, commemorations, films, and exhibitions punctuate the event. The highlight is the famous Grand Tintamarre on August 15, National Acadian Day.
