An institution on Île de Plaisance, the Benoist family’s establishment has treated Courseulles-sur-Mer inhabitants and visitors since 1955. Not only does the House seduce you with the "special Courseulles" oysters, refined in its parks, but it also attracts you with seafood platters that you can devour with your eyes before you eat them, crab claws and shellfish curette in hand. The seductive fish soup as well as delicious seafood verrines and cassolettes finish melting you completely. Impossible to resist. Normal, it’s the "Régals de l’Ile Benoist" effect! A sudden craving for seafood or a handful of shrimp? Great! It is open all year round, 7 days a week and a few steps away, the restaurant Dégustation de l’Ile offers you the best.

Charentais, amateur d'huitres, mais habitant le région parisienne, ce n'est jamais facile de se fournir en qualité et quantité. Un producteur de mon "pays" m'a fortement déçu (mon avis est sur petit futé) aussi, je me suis rabattu vers un ostréiculteur plus proche de la région ou j'habite. Et là une énorme bonne surprise. Cela fait deux fois que je commande "aux régals de l'Ile Benoist" et les deux fois, j'ai été royalement servi. De beaux produits, charnus, affinés à point, toujours un petit surplus dans les quantité pour palier un éventuel problème et, un patron souriant, plein de bonne humeur, très arrangeant sur les expéditions. Bref, un véritable ostréiculteur amoureux de son métier et fier de contenter sa clientèle. Je recommande fortement.
