Located in Chile Chico, the Cueva de las Manos is an exceptional archaeological site, featuring rock paintings created by nomadic Tehuelche hunters over 10,000 years ago. This natural cave, 60 metres high, served as a habitat and observation point. At an altitude of 1,106 metres, its summit offers a breathtaking view of the Jeinemeni River delta, the natural border with Argentina. To welcome visitors, an 8.9 km trail was under construction in 2024. A treasure trove of history and natural beauty!
