Site featuring a colony of king penguins, which could soon become extinct due to global warming.

For the past few years, a colony of king penguins has taken up residence off a beach in the San Clemente estancia. A real miracle, because in principle these birds live in the islands of the Antarctic regions! It is the largest species of penguins after the emperor penguin: about 90 cm for an average weight of 13 kg. According to scientists, the king penguins could soon become extinct due to global warming. Therefore this site is particularly important and the conservation of the colony (about 100 individuals) all the more delicate.
