CALETA WULAIA
This beautiful bay, which is a true historical monument, now boasts an informative museum on the region's indigenous people
Very beautiful bay located west of Navarino Island, south of the Murray Canal. A true historical monument, it is here that the first English missionaries met the Yaghans. It is also where Charles Darwin and Commander Fitz Roy landed in 1830, and where they took four natives to England, including the famous Jemmy Button, then 14 years old. Today you can visit a very informative museum about the natives of this southern region, and walk to a viewpoint along a well defined trail.
