OBSERVATOIRE MAMALLUCA

This astronomical complex installs its domes at about ten kilometres from Vicuña. Well equipped with telescopes and experienced in tourist activities related to astronomy, its organizers offer programs for the general public with observation evenings and explanations on the different celestial objects. This observatory is all the more famous in the region as it was probably the first one designed for tourism in the country! Indeed, since the 1980's, amateurs came to settle down in order to take advantage of its sky of very high quality.
