This small museum pays tribute to the famous poetess Gabriela Mistral. She was the pride of the valley and lived in this house with her sister and mother between the ages of 3 and 9. The museum contains the classroom where her sister, Emelina, a teacher, received her pupils. The room next to it is the old bedroom where the little family lived. One comes here more for the setting and to get a feel for the place, as the museum does not offer much information.
