TERMINAL DE BUS TORREBLANCA
As usual, Tur Bus and Pullman Bus have their own terminal, fortunately right next to the main one.
For Santiago, several companies offer the trip in 11 hours. Pullman Bus leaves every hour and Tur Bus five times a day. Depending on the category, count from $15,000 to $39,000.
For Viña del Mar and Valparaíso, several companies also offer a direct route of about 10 hours at prices ranging from $12,000 to $39,000
For Caldera, colectivos leave every half hour next to the terminal until 8:30 pm, and even buses, with Recabarren and Casther Nozzles, next to the Lider (count $2,500 per person). Very numerous departures (about every 30 minutes).
For Puerto Viejo (an amazing village, born from tomas - "squats" or illegal land occupations -, beautiful beaches extend to the surroundings, you can eat there, if you expect to see a singular and unusual place this destination is all right): only on weekends in winter.
To Los Loros and the Copiapó Valley: from 7am and every two hours. The bus continues to Las Juntas and Iglesia Colorada. By buying your ticket for Las Juntas you can ask to go down to the Inca metallurgical centre Viña del Cerro, which, although scribbled everywhere by unconscious people, may be worth a visit; a little later Tierra Amarilla on this same road, near Copiapó, contemplate the incredible church of Nantoco, one of the most beautiful in the country, lost in a cemetery of rusty buses and ironworks.
