IGLESIA SAN PEDRO

This church, home to a friendly St. Peter with a golden beard, is the largest and one of the most beautiful in the region.
Located next to a shady square, this church, the largest and one of the most beautiful in the region, would convert an atheist. Dating from 1744, it is entirely made of white adobe. A tower was added to it in 1964. Its roof is made of carob wood bound with leather straps. The interior, bathed in a marvellous light, shelters a sympathetic Saint Peter with a golden beard. Opposite the church, the Casa Incaica is the oldest house in the village. With its trapezoidal doors, it is a typical example of Inca architecture.
