This castle is one of the oldest medieval fortifications in Normandy.
This ancient fortified seigneury, surrounded by water, has a history spanning ten centuries. It includes a 15th-century timber-framed farmhouse, a dovecote, a chapel, a barn and a dwelling housing an exhibition on life in the Middle Ages. The barn houses the Schlumberger Foundation, dedicated to the saga of the Schlumberger brothers, inventors of a revolutionary mining prospecting technique. In August, don't miss the "Les Médiévales", a medieval festival.

Chateau qui mérite d'être découvert !
Un tout autre style que les châteaux de la région et très bien restauré.
Félicitations aux propriétaires.
De plus documentaire sur leur fondation qui est très intéressante à l'intérieur de la grange.

This was a fantastic day out. We'd been camping near by for two weeks enjoying the beach and decided to come here for a mini birthday celebration. It was a fantastic choice. Lots of space too roam and explore and plenty of things to keep the kids occupied. Make sure you bring a picnic to enjoy the large open orchard next to the car park.
