This castle is one of the oldest medieval fortifications in Normandy.

This ancient fortified seigneury, surrounded by water, has a history spanning ten centuries. It includes a 15th-century timber-framed farmhouse, a dovecote, a chapel, a barn and a dwelling housing an exhibition on life in the Middle Ages. The barn houses the Schlumberger Foundation, dedicated to the saga of the Schlumberger brothers, inventors of a revolutionary mining prospecting technique. In August, don't miss the "Les Médiévales", a medieval festival.

Très beau site médiéval, très bien préservé. Découvert ce site sur la route des vacances et ne regrette pas de m'y être arrêté.

Très rare chateau féodal conservé quasiment avec toutes ses structures permettant de comprendre la vie de cette époque.
Il faut profiter de certaines journées à thème afin de rencontrer les personnes costumées et les activités de la vie quotidienne.
