A few steps from the Ana Kai Tangata caves, at the beginning of the hiking trail to Orongo and the Rano Kau volcano, Christophe (a Frenchman) and his small family offer four very clean, rustic and warm rooms, where stone and wood are combined. The upper room, upstairs, has a beautiful sunset view from its private terrace. Christophe is also a professional and enthusiastic guide. Very popular with travellers and good value for money, hence the importance of booking well in advance.
