Shane, originally from New Zealand, offers an astronomical tour that is as poetic as it is informative. You will first be introduced to the Polynesian culture by learning about its origins, its gift for navigation and its reading of the sky. Then, in small groups, you will walk through the silent reliefs of the island before admiring, through two telescopes, the magnificently starry sky. The highlight of the show is on the beach of Anakena with a photo session with the moai (and the stars!) and a capella singing of a profound grace and power. Magical!
