RENCONTRES DES MUSIQUES DU MONDE

The «Rencontres des musique du monde» are organized by Thames in collaboration with Caracoli and with the operational support of the Knowledge and Liberty Foundation, the Institut Français, Wallonie Brussels International. This multicultural festival, which takes place around the Festival de la Musique, offers concerts in Port-au-Prince with a group on tour with the French Alliances, films, workshops and conferences. The festival offers a quality poster, with artists from all walks of life, who have the common denominator to propose a musical project with modernity but a clear link with the traditional and cultural aspect of their own. This unique event in Haiti has already brought together Caribbean artists (Cuba, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Ste Lucia), Europe (Germany, Belgium, France, Italy), Africa (Cameroon, Cape Verde, Cote d 'Ivoire, Mali, Senegal) and North America (USA).
