It was in this isolated place that, in the early 1970 s, two confirmed Haitian artists, Maud Robart and Jean-Claude Garoute, gave their neighbours a painting. These peasants, those craftsmen, who had never seen a single table formed a sort of community that they were going to baptize Saint-Sun. Moreover, André Malraux went to these painters and consigna his impresssions in his third volume of the Metamorphosis of the Gods entitled L'Intemporel, in 1976.
