OGIER-FOMBRUN COLONIAL MUSEUM
Fascinated by History, Mr. Fombrun created, on the outskirts of the Moulin-sur-Mer Hotel, the colonial museum Ogier-Fombrun whose aim is to trace the major stages of the construction of the Haitian nation, the landing of Columbus until independence through three broad halls. One of them presents the model of the Ogier housing and the authentic and gigantic wheel of its mill. The parts exposed outside are not the least interesting: the animal-powered mill used by the manants whites and a few metres from the slave wagon, the cross of the bossales, which brings us back to the ruthless reality of the colonial system. A good way of not bronzer stupid.
