HÔTEL DU ROI CHRISTOPHE
In the city centre just 3 minutes away from the port, the Hotel du Roi Christophe is one of the fleurons of the Haitian hotel. Indeed, it is the counterpart of Olofson in Cape-Haïtien, better kept. The hotel was built in the 1940 th century and was set up in the early s as accommodation. Hidden in the middle of a beautiful, lush garden. Huge trees are lined with smaller trees, fruit, flowers of all kinds and everything is laid on an impeccable turf. Hidden in a corner of this garden, the beautiful swimming pool is a haven of countries where it is good to take the sun on a sun lounger. The rooms are charming and tastefully decorated by the boss's wife. Mr. Henri Moural has been at the head of the hotel since the 1980 s. This man tries to keep the building stamp with talent. The cheapest accommodations do not have air conditioning, but the walls are so thick that this is far from essential. The furniture is original and natural, made by the artisans of Cape Town, it takes over Art Deco style, copies the th and th centuries and, above all, enchants its eyes. The patio, in the centre of King Christophe, is particularly pleasant for a drink. With great value for money, with an unbeatable old charm, this is our heart in Cape-Haïtien. Finally, for lovers of the 7 th art, we saw a few scenes of the movie descend into the underworld with Sophie Marceau and Claude Brasseur.
