DWELLING DUPLAA AND SPIRIT LOVANA
The former colonial dwelling has become a voodoo place of worship. At the end of a field is a majestic figuier - the Loas favorite tree - with a stone built at its base. About thirty meters on its right, the ruins of a colonial building are home to a basin where a spirit called Lovana takes the form of a fish. His faithful come to pray around the basin, Tuesday and Friday. There is a great festival on September 5, the day before the pilgrimage to Bord-de-Mer-de-Limonade in honor of Saint Philomène.
The OGDNH can mediate between travelers and Duplaa dwellings.
