FROZEN BEACH

The small road that leads to Frost leaves the national, on the left after the stately ruins of the house of Louis Déjoie, an unsuccessful candidate in the 1956 elections. She has just been asphalt, for the 2012 carnival and because the place is more and more frequented. We take about ten minutes in the middle of the rice fields before you reach a beach that has little more than a beach, if it's the sea and an imposing fine sand bench on which one asks its towel when there's room and where you get through a makeshift footbridge. Some trees. And then, in the background, what is left of the beach itself (rather became a trail), takes over ten canteens, bars and restaurants grill, in a lively and musical atmosphere, mostly frequented by the locals. The colourful terraces, built in wood, are worth and prénomment At Raymonde, Anne Marie, Mrs Bertrand… Enjoy the same Creole specialities of kos, chicken, grilled pork or sauce… accompanied by French fries. The island to Cow appears in the distance. The morning is devoted to the kitchen and the cleaning of the places before rush.
At the time of the carnival, the site is being stormed by campers and young people from the surrounding area who elect home.
