FILE INSTITUTE

Ciné Institute was born from the ashes of the Jakmèl Film Festival, which projected dozens of international films every year. The excitement around the cinema was such that in 2008, Jacmel's professional film school opened its doors and welcomed every year the promotion of twenty students from all over the country. Storyline scripture, shooting, assembly, all aspects of the profession are addressed, even if the school has recently taken a turn towards the only taking of sound and its treatment. The campus is absolutely sumptuous, by the sea, and the material side, it has nothing to envy anyone. Recently, the school has opened an audio section and trains twenty young people every year as sound engineer. Ciné Institute frequently organizes city projections.
