AUBERGE LA VISITE

Located in the heart of the La Visite National Park, this hostel is the ideal retreat for nature lovers and hikers. The amenities in the rooms (three of them) are good and the restaurant is also quality: ask for lamb specialty on the grill with broken potatoes, a feast! The city of Port-au-Prince does not hesitate to go up the weekend to eat here. The master of the site, Winthrop Attié, an horseback riding enthusiast, puts his horses at the disposal of the guests and willingly serves as a guide to visit the Pic La Visite and Pic Cabaïo, which are the highest summits (about 1900 m) of the Park The Tour, or for simple walks between waterfalls and forests. Warm clothing is required because it is almost 2,000 meters high. The visit is a place to discover absolutely, in full nature the scenery is guaranteed.
