A must-see with its green, yellow and pink facade! Certainly not the most aesthetically pleasing, but offers decent rooms at very reasonable prices. Choose the LA Residency over the LA City next door: more sober and less expensive (rooms from $45). With electricity, hot water and air conditioning. Shared shower in some entry-level rooms. But all clean. Some even have balconies. Nice little terrace/garden. Pizzeria and BBQ buffet every Saturday evening. The LA City isn't bad either: 19 supposedly superior (?) rooms from $85.
