One of Kinshasa's most remarkable historical and natural sites, long closed to the public and reserved solely for the pleasure of Marshal Mobutu, who made it his presidential estate, the hill has always been considered a strategic location due to its proximity to the river. Since 2010, the site has been open to the public. It houses part of the museum collections (Ethnographic Museum). But the estate also includes a superb park and other attractions, even if it is only partially redeveloped at this stage.
