UNIKIN MUSEUM
Created in 1958 as part of the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN), the little-known Musée de la Préhistoire was merged in 1977 to form the Musée de l'Unikin, which includes the Musée de la Préhistoire, the Musée Ethnographie and the open-air museum on the university site. The latter presents a collection of objects from excavations carried out on the Kinshasa plain since the end of the 19th century. Information on how to access the museum is available on site and in advance. It's also an opportunity to visit the university site.
