The space includes a gallery as well as the studio of this great Congolese painter, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts from which he graduated. The vocation of this place was also an opportunity for Lema to bring artistic life to the heart of the city, and to arouse interest in his work and in art in general among the population. Lema Kusa's expressionist painting depicts everyday life, mostly women, in a very vivid and colourful way. He has numerous international exhibitions to his credit.
