ST. EUGENE'S CATHEDRAL
Go there and contact
Originally a Catholic post founded by Trappist missionaries in 1902. On March 7, 1910, King Albert authorized the construction of a church and a school. Several hundred thousand bricks were made on the spot for an edifice that was considered unfeasible at the time: 60 m long, 17 m wide and the main nave 7 m wide and 13 m high. In 1925, the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart took over the site. The original bell (700 kg), bearing the coat of arms of Westmalle Abbey, can be seen at the foot of the statue of Christ.

Ne mérite pas pour autant une visite, sauf bien sûr pour assister à un office toujours plein de ferveur et de joie.
