There are quite a few Chinese in the DRC, especially in Lubumbashi, mainly in the mining sector. And so, inevitably, the canteen workers follow in their footsteps. With the Forbidden City we are not at all in the basic gargote. The menu is vast and offers a lot of fine Asian specialties. The Peking duck prepared in the traditional wood oven is particularly appreciated. The tables are set up in small lounges arranged in the different rooms of the residence. It is also possible to stay there.

The place is easy to find. During the day the drying linen is around the pool, but the evening setting increases very in other scale. You can have lunch inside in one of the many restaurant rooms or by the swimming pool.
The Chinese clientele has fun much and you can understand them. The place is pleasant and refined food.
It is more expensive than other Chinese of Lubumbashi but the dishes are worth them.
So if you want to have a small pleasure to change your practices, I can recommend the place.
