This is one of ex-president Joseph Kabila's farms, where he has chosen to apply the principle of "returning to the land". The aim is to ensure a post-mining future by investing in the land, essentially in crops and livestock. This will feed the population, provide jobs and position the province as an exporter to neighboring countries in particular. The estate covers 700 hectares, producing corn and specializing in industrial livestock, chickens and goats.
