Michel Nikolandos has taken over the magnificent establishment left by his late father. Calmer than his late father, he is determined to make La Scala grow with ambitious new projects. We're keeping our fingers crossed that he retains the vintage '70s charm that gives the place its soul. The 12 well-equipped rooms are distributed in pavilions around the courtyard. On the restaurant-pizzeria side, the menu plays on diversity: Congolese and European classics, a few Chinese touches (thanks to the neighboring resto), all at accessible prices, under $20. And for billiards fans, no fewer than 4 tables await you. La Scala is the perfect blend of heritage and renewal!
