The magnificent 18-hole golf course and its buildings are a remnant of the colony, at a time when every major city in Congo had its own golf course and equestrian circle. The Kolwezi golf club is being renovated by a private individual in an outlying district that will soon be revitalized, particularly by its proximity to the future provincial government building. A small eden of greenery and biodiversity, with ponds, hills and groves, to practice its swing (once the site reopens) only a few minutes from the city centre.
