Gone is the beautiful sign, the Tanganyika Hotel has become the Amazon Hotel. Apart from a few changes made since this change, the place is still considered one of the cheapest in the city, for an acceptable standard shall we say. But at this price, let's not be too demanding, there is no Wi-Fi and the hot water is brought to temperature on demand... They also serve some affordable local dishes and snacks (kebabs, fries, etc.). For backpackers and/or broke people who are less concerned about comfort than about budget.
