Lésio-Louna Léfini Reserve, home to the Aspinall Foundation, which works to protect gorillas and their ecosystem

The Lesio-Louna Lefini reserve is home to the Aspinall Foundation, whose aim is to protect gorillas and their ecosystem. More than fifty gorillas live freely in the reserve, with the exception of three on islands. In addition to awareness-raising activities, the Foundation offers visits to the gorillas, boat trips to observe hippos and crocs, and hikes. All these visits must be paid for in advance at the Foundation's office in Brazzaville, or at least arranged in advance by e-mail or WhatsApp.

une belle initiative
une belle initiative d'autant plus qu'elle permet d'observer des gorilles en semi-liberté en une journée depuis Brazzaville dans un paysage splendide. Ne vous attendez pas à une immense jungle. Les gardiens se sont liés d'amitié avec les gorilles (surtout l'orphelin qui plaisante avec lui même si je ne voudrais pas que nous soyons au cirque...) et fournissent des légumes très frais que les locaux n'ont probablement pas à disposition. J'ai été un peu choqué de voir le gorille de Portland complètement effrayé à chaque bruit. Je pensais que c'était dû au fait qu'il était habitué à l'espace du zoo par rapport à la jungle
