This small hotel has become, by necessity, a familiar haunt in Gamboma. It is equipped with a generator that runs all night long. In the restaurant, local notables pass by under a wallpaper portrait of President Denis Sassou-N'Guesso, surrounded by photos of Mère Pépé in her prime. Mère Pépé, with a Coke or a beer in hand depending on the time of day, keeps the world going. A warm and inviting stopover well worth the detour.
