HELP CONGO BUREAU D’INFORMATION ET D’ÉDUCATION À L’ENVIRONNEMENT
Pointe-Noire, a city in the Republic of Congo, is home to the HELP Congo environmental information and education office. The aim of this association is to protect primates, particularly chimpanzees, and their habitat. It works in partnership with HELP International, based in France, which provides logistical, financial and media support to HELP Congo. HELP Congo's actions focus on four main areas: the preservation of free-ranging primates, the creation of an ecological habitat for primates, environmental education and information, and eco-solidarity. Activities include taking in orphaned chimpanzees, reintroducing chimpanzees into their natural habitat, scientific studies on primate ecosystems, school visits, exhibitions and theme days. The environmental information and education office is open to the public and features a biodiversity library and a permanent photographic exhibition. To support HELP Congo, you can make donations, join the association or sponsor a primate.
