DOPO is the new offspring of the city's famous Italian restaurant, D.O.P., voted 46th in the top 100 best restaurants in Canada. The latter had to close its doors in August 2024 due to the demolition of the building. DOPO replaced it, while retaining its original spirit in a dedicated new space near Marda Loop (shopping center). Chef Tony Migliarese shares his love of Italian cuisine, concocting refined dishes inspired by the recipes of his parents, who themselves ran a restaurant for 20 years.
