Every great city could be threatened by a fire and Calgary had one in 1886 that devastated it. The only building that escaped Pulled is 131 th Avenue SW. After this disaster, the city was rebuilt with a minimum of flammable materials and took the name Sandstone City (sandstone City). The museum displays photos of the various fires, uniforms and trucks at the time.
