This 30-hectare urban park, located north of the city, is a popular playground in summer and winter. There are many trails for hiking and biking (snow biking in the winter) and a great place to picnic in the summer. Surrounded by the Bow River, the park is a great place to swim, canoe, kayak or paddle in the summer (boat rentals available on site in high season) and skate in the winter. Bowness Park is the ideal place for a day of sports or a day of relaxation in the middle of nature!
