Zoo with an interpretive center near downtown featuring exotic endangered and native species.
Located just 10 minutes from downtown Edmonton, the zoo is home to 350 animals, including more than 100 exotic, endangered and park-origin species. Camel rides, model train rides and many other fun activities are available at the zoo. Here you can learn a lot about the animals that inhabit the region, and Western Canada more generally. An interpretation centre and many specialists will be able to answer your questions on site.
