This website is a gold mine for information on the 2000 or so campsites in Banff National Park. Around the town of Banff, there are a few large state-run campsites with showers, toilets and water. Prices range from $17 to $36 CAN, depending on location and comfort. Please note that an $11 CAN permit to build a fire must be added! Most campsites operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Très déçus par les campings de BANFF. Nous avions loué un camping car "petit modèle" et les terrains ne sont pas du tout sympas. Il y a un bloc de douches pour tout le camping ... interdiction de laver son linge au bloc douches/lavabos...On voit que Parc Canada rentabilise au mieux l'espace. Très décevant, mais moins cher que les lodges. Le camping de LAKE LOUISE est le pire car le train Klaxonne toute la nuit et vous êtes au ras de la voie. A EVITER
