This internationally renowned tour, which is more than 3,300 kilometres long, stretches from Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming to Jasper National Park in the province of Alberta, Canada, through Waterton and Banff National Parks, and then on to Jasper National Park in the province of Alberta, Canada. This route passes through some of the wildest landscapes in Western Canada, with its immense forests and wilderness. Grizzly bears roam freely in these vast areas and the likelihood of encountering them and other wildlife is not uncommon.
