A glass walkway suspended 100 feet above the ground with a magnificent view of the Sunwapta Valley, waterfalls and glaciers.
From the Columbia Icefield Discovery Center (Parks Canada information desk), you can take a shuttle to the Glacier Skywalk attraction, a glass walkway suspended 280 meters above the Sunwapta Valley. The view of the Sunwapta Valley, the waterfalls and the surrounding glaciers is breathtaking! Those who are sensitive to vertigo should refrain. Tip: the best time to visit is before 1pm or after 3pm, to avoid the flow of tourists and to have the chance to see wild animals from the footbridge.
