ATHABASCA FALLS
One of the most powerful waterfalls in the Canadian Rockies south of Jasper, with a variety of hiking trails to access them.
Thirty kilometres south of Jasper, the 23-metre-high Athabasca Falls are among the most powerful in the Canadian Rockies. A superb site to commune with the forces of nature! The hike there is very simple and fast. The effects due to erosion, of which they are the actors over time, are spectacular and one can observe the flow of water pouring over this layer of quartzite which has been forming for years an impressive canyon and pots of giants. Various trails allow you to admire this show.
