Lake O'Hara is a fragile alpine area in the heart of the wilderness.
It would be a shame to miss the discovery of Lake O'Hara, a fragile alpine area in the heart of a wilderness. In order to protect this area, Parks Canada has a visitor quota: permission is limited to 42 day visitors, as well as visitors staying overnight at one of the 30 campsites, one of the two Alpine Club of Canada huts, or at the small private lodge. There is a bus service to Lake O'Hara, with a limited number of visitors on site. Advance reservations are required.
