Historic building built in 1890 that houses the City of Victoria's municipal council.

In the heart of downtown Victoria, the City Hall, built in 1890, is located at the corner of Douglas Street and Pandora Avenue. This historic building houses Victoria City Council. The removal of the free parking lot and the Sir John A. MacDonald statue is a matter of debate. It is possible to visit it, many old maps and photos, relating the beginnings of the city of Victoria, are exposed there. Very close to this town hall is Centennial Square where many festivals and concerts are held.
