EMILY CARR HOUSE
Victorian style house, classified as a national historic monument in Victoria.
Victoria-born painter Emily Carr has been able to make the trees in her region dance like no one else. You can visit the Victorian-style house and garden where she lived and worked, now a National Historic Monument. It should be noted that the house is once again open to visitors since May 2019 after renovation work. It is very interesting to see what life was like in the Victorian era, through the furniture and objects in the house. Several of his paintings are on display and adorn the walls of the house.
